This event has been postponed until later in the year

The justification of your group sizes is a key part of good experimental design and, when it comes to the use of animals in research, a large part of the ethical justification for their use. This workshop will cover how to construct a justification of animal numbers section for grant applications to the major UK funders as well as give advice on related PPL questions. This will include estimating experimental and breeding numbers as well as addressing points on experimental design. We will also discuss why this renewed focus on good experimental design is important and what you can do to make sure you meet the expectations of funders and reviewers.

This workshop is being run in both the Old Road Campus and Science Area on consecutive days. You only need to come along to one of these, so pick which one suits you best! Please email chris.barkus@nc3rs.org.uk to register.

DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION IS FRIDAY 3 APRIL. VENUE WILL BE CONFIRMED TO REGISTERED ATTENDEES
