 una Maroun. Professor Maroun is a distinguished Arab-Israeli neurobiologis
 t with a PhD in psychobiology from the University of Haifa and a postdoc f
 rom Paris XI Orsay\, France. Since October 2024\, she has served as the Re
 ctor of the University of Haifa – the first Arab to lead a higher educat
 ion institution in Israel. She has been a faculty member for over 20 years
  and has held several official positions within and outside the university
 \, including as Chair of the Neurobiology Department and Chair of the Nati
 onal Steering Committee for Expanding Access to Higher Education for Arabs
 \, Druze\, and Circassians.\n\nRegistration is open to all members of the
