DESCRIPTION:The talk will focus on the Ordnance Survey (and its military p
 recursor)\, the Ordnance Survey’s main private sector competitor\, Chris
 topher Greenwood\, and on the mapmakers for the Great Reform Act.  We will
  follow their lives\, their mapmaking skills\, and their insults addressed
  to each other and to the world at large. Examples of the maps will be on 
 display.\n \n\nThe talk will be followed by refreshments. All are welcome.
