DESCRIPTION:David Pellman's laboratory investigates how errors in cell div
 ision lead to catastrophic mutational events\, genome instability\, and ca
 ncer. His group has uncovered mechanisms linking nuclear architecture to c
 hromothripsis and other major genomic rearrangements\, revealing how abnor
 mal nuclear structures contribute to tumour evolution. Their recent work e
 xplores how nuclear atypia can cause heritable changes in chromatin organi
 sation and gene expression\, advancing our understanding of genome instabi
