DESCRIPTION:The Oxford Conservative Thought (OCT) Reading Group is a non-p
 artisan group devoted to academic exploration of small-c conservative poli
 tical thought. We welcome\, and actively encourage\, viewpoint diversity a
 nd constructive engagement across ideological divides (all good-willed par
 ticipants are welcome!)\n\nEach week we read one assigned text\, and we re
 commend more for anyone who is very keen!\n\nThe OCT meets weekly in term 
 time on Fridays from 4-5:30pm.\n\nWeek 2 explores conservative views on th
 e family and sexual relationships\, with a reading from Scott Yenor's 'The
