 artisan group devoted to academic exploration of small-c conservative poli
 tical thought. We welcome\, and actively encourage\, viewpoint diversity a
 nd constructive engagement across ideological divides (all good-willed par
 ticipants are welcome!) \n\nEach week we read one assigned text\, and we r
 ecommend more for anyone who is very keen!\n \nThe OCT meets weekly in ter
 m time on Fridays from 4-5:30pm. \n\nWeek 5 explores the relationship betw
 een conservatism and critiques of modernity\, with a core reading from Ala
