DESCRIPTION:This talk explores the Antioch Bible’s Syriac-English editio
 n of the Peshitta New Testament. As the first complete\, scholarly transla
 tion of the Peshitta into contemporary English\, the Antioch Bible bridges
  historical Syriac tradition with modern linguistic precision. This presen
 tation will discuss the translation’s methodological approach\, its bala
 nce between literal fidelity and accessible English\, and its role in adva
 ncing Syriac studies. Special attention will be given to how the Antioch B
 ible engages with textual variants\, historical context\, and its contribu
