DESCRIPTION:Sexism\, shame\, and stigma influence health experiences and c
ause harm. Many conditions that differently or disproportionately affect w
omen and people assigned female at birth are underfunded and under researc
hed. To address these gaps\, Tori uses the case study of recurrent vaginal
thrush\, to explore how gender health inequity impacts healthcare encount
ers. Her work centres patient voices\, upholds lived experience as experti
se\, and bridges research with community activism. \n\nThe webinar attenda
