DESCRIPTION:Join this free one-hour practical\, interactive workshop from 
 the UK EQUATOR Centre. In our Lightning Workshops series\, our methodology
 \, writing\, and communication experts cover all of the essential aspects 
 of writing and publishing your academic research. These sessions are desig
 ned for early-career biomedical and clinical researchers.\n\nAuthorship ca
 n be a tricky issue in biomedical research. Learn about authorship rules\,
  rights and responsibilities so that you can sort it out early and avoid a
 ny problems. In this interactive workshop\, we’ll share experiences\, le
 arn from each other\, and work through scenarios to identify strategies fo
 r ensuring your author list reflects everyone’s contributions.\n\nJen de
  Beyer is CSM’s science writing\, dissemination\, and publication specia
 list. She’s here to help your research reach its full potential through 
 clear\, complete writing that targets the right audience. She develops res
 ources on how to write fantastic health research articles and teaches acad
 emic writing skills through the UK EQUATOR Centre.\n\nPatricia Logullo is 
 a scientific editor with a background in scientific journalism and evidenc
 e-based health. She has extensive experience helping biomedical researcher
 s to communicate their findings and journals to publish health research ar
 ticles. She conducts research into best practices\, tools\, and guidelines
  for scientific communication\, in her role as website and research office
 r at the UK EQUATOR Centre in the Centre for Statistics in Medicine. \n\nT
 his free workshop is open to University of Oxford\, Oxford Brookes\, and O
 xford University Hospitals staff and students\, but we do ask you to book
