 p member of the UK OSINT Community\, for an interactive session on the wor
 ld of Open Source Intelligence (OSINT).\n\nWhether you are completely new 
 to the concept or have experience in the field\, this event will explore h
 ow publicly available information is found\, analysed and used for both in
 vestigations and personal security.\n\nThe session will cover:\n-Understan
 ding the Landscape: We will look at the vast range of industries and use c
 ases where OSINT is applied. Crucially\, we will also discuss the current 
 dangers we all face regarding our digital footprints and challenge common 
 misconceptions about online safety.\n\n-Interactive Workshop: You will hav
 e the opportunity to put theory into practice with live challenges using t
 he UK OSINT Community’s Capture the Flag scenarios. We will walk through
  solutions step-by-step so you can try out investigation techniques yourse
 lf.\n\n-Real-World Case Studies: Joshua will share insights from two disti
 nct investigations: tracking a threat actor on the dark web to prevent int
 ended harm\, and identifying a sensitive individual from a simple video cl
 ip. These examples highlight the dual nature of OSINT as a powerful invest
 igative tool and a critical reminder of our own vulnerabilities.\n\n-Prote
 ctive Measures & Q&A: The session will conclude with actionable advice on 
 how to better protect your own online presence\, followed by an open Q&A t
 o answer any questions you may have about open source intelligence.\n\n\n\

 ecialises in digital footprint management\, privacy consulting\, and train
 ing. Dedicated to helping individuals and businesses understand their onli
