OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected to start before the end of Hilary Term to allow all future events to be migrated to the new platform. Join us as we continue to read Gillian Rose’s The Broken Middle (1992). This week, we’ll be looking at chapter 3 (pp. 85-101), where we begin to cover material on Freud. As usual, we’ll meet on Monday evening from 17.30 to 19.00 in the Old Music School at 6 New College Lane (directions below). There’ll be 10 minutes at the start to discuss some of the themes from last week before we get into the new material.
