(En)gendering Futurity (Trans Studies Working Group)
The Trans Studies Working Group is an emergent cohort of faculty, students, artists, and activists that will serve as an institutional base for trans studies at Oxford, and that seeks to nurture cross-disciplinary trans thought within and beyond the university.

Our Week 8 seminar will occur on 6 December 2025, 3pm – 4pm, at St. Anne’s College (Seminar Room 11) in response to the theme of (En)gendering Futurity. All critical perspectives that attend to trans as analytic, methodology, orientation, or praxis, or to its intersections with critical race, gender, sexuality, and disability studies, are welcome. No RSVP required.
