OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Creating mind maps, flowcharts and infographics with everyday tools
Online via Teams
Held as part of the Centre for Teaching and Learning’s ‘Maximise your digital productivity’ series, this session is for academics, students and all those interested in improving their digital productivity.
Graphical displays of complex information are very effective and can enhance understanding of difficult subjects. They are also an essential tool for including more kinds of people in your audience. And not least, they can help content creators organise their thinking about the subject. Many people worry that they need to learn to use a complicated graphics editor or pay a graphic designer. But that’s not true. This session will show you how you can create powerful graphics with the tools you already use.
