OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. he Oxford Seminar in the History of Alchemy and Chemistry will hold a Book Launch celebration for the Publication of Robert Fox’s book, Thomas Garnett: Science, Medicine, Mobility in Eighteenth-Century Britain (Bloomsbury Academic Press), and for Carbon: A Biography by Bernadette Bensaude-Vincent and Sacha Loeve (Polity).
The Launch will immediately follow the Oxford Seminar in the History of Alchemy and Chemistry (session 3-5 pm).
