Interdisciplinary Medieval Seminar: Devotional Culture in Late Medieval Strasbourg
Medieval historian Dr Stephen Mossman (Manchester) is presenting the diverse devotional culture of late medieval Strasbourg from the perspective of its surviving manuscripts and libraries: What was read, copied and discussed between the Charterhouse, the religious lay communities and the townspeople? How did this manifest itself in the art, architecture and ceremonies?
This Lecture will be followed by a drinks reception
