Climate and Health Forums: Healthcare Systems Impacts
In Michaelmas Term 2021 (October 2021) a series of Climate and Health Forums will bring together researchers for discussion under three broad thematic areas:

1. Disease Impacts: 9.30-11am Mon 18th October
2. Healthcare System Impacts: 9-11am Mon 25th October
3. Climatic Extremes Impacts: 9-11am Wed 20th or 27th October

Healthcare Systems Impacts: including issues around carbon emissions from healthcare systems (Dr Bush, Centre for Sustainable Healthcare), infrastructure and adaptation, rural vs urban and access, healthcare policy (Prof English, Oxford Centre for Global Health Research) and climate impacts on healthcare delivery (Dr. McKnight, Oxford Centre for Global Health Research).

These forums will bring together researchers interested in the intersection of climate change and health, identify key areas of strength and future work, and facilitate novel collaborations and strengthening existing ones, especially in preparation for the new Climate and Health Pump-Priming Funding round currently open.
