OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Digitalisation for the People and Plant – CREDS in Conversation
Digitalisation is one of the high-level trends that will significantly impact future energy demand and carbon emissions, whilst creating social challenges and opportunities. Drawing on work within CREDS and by leading European researchers, this seminar will examine how pathways for digitalisation in energy and mobility could be directed towards reducing energy demand and enhancing social justice.
Prof Tim Foxon and Dr Noam Bergan (University of Sussex), Dr Steffen Lange (University of Berlin), Prof Tim Schwanen and Dr Debbie Hopkins (University of Oxford) and Dr Siddharth Sareen (University of Bergen)
