OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Oxford University Chabad Society invites you TONIGHT to an online Holocaust memorial lecture
Mindu Hornick MBE (90), born in Czechoslovakia, is a Holocaust survivor of Auschwitz concentration camp and slave labour camp. She has been speaking for 20 years in the Midlands about her experiences, was awarded a doctorate from Warwick University, and lifetime achievement award from the City of Birmingham. She was appointed an MBE in the Queen’s New Year Honours for 2020 for her services to Holocaust education and commemoration.
Ms Hornick will share her life story and address the theme of this year’s Holocaust Memorial Day: ‘Be the light in the darkness’
