During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Oxford University Chabad Society invites you TONIGHT to an online Holocaust memorial lecture
Mindu Hornick MBE (90), born in Czechoslovakia, is a Holocaust survivor of Auschwitz concentration camp and slave labour camp. She has been speaking for 20 years in the Midlands about her experiences, was awarded a doctorate from Warwick University, and lifetime achievement award from the City of Birmingham. She was appointed an MBE in the Queen’s New Year Honours for 2020 for her services to Holocaust education and commemoration.
Ms Hornick will share her life story and address the theme of this year’s Holocaust Memorial Day: ‘Be the light in the darkness’
