OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Sociology Seminar Series - 'Academic Research with the Twitter API v2'
Free Event. Open to all members of the University to attend online. Members of the Department of Sociology are welcome to attend in person.
Suhem Parack, Staff Developer Advocate at Twitter, will introduce the academic research product in the Twitter API v2 that makes it easy for academics to do research with Twitter. We will discuss the new features in the Twitter API, new tools that make it easy for researchers to get Twitter data, and discuss examples of research done with the Twitter API.
