Careers Seminar for researchers: Professional networking, social media and managing your digital identity
Book your place by logging onto CareerConnect via www.careers.oxford.ac.uk and searching the events menu
Informal seminar and skill-sharing for DPhil/Masters by research students and for research staff

Networking is something we all do, whether we call it that or not. Some of us feel more comfortable with the idea of developing our networks than others. In this session we will discuss the what, why and how of interacting with professionals in sectors of work that interest us, and the implications for our online presence and digital identities. Through sharing examples of a wide variety of ways to network, we will help each other make strategic and efficient choices regarding opportunities in Oxford, our current research collaborations and on the web.
