Join us for a timely conversation on U.S.–Latin America relations in a Trumpian world
The Oxford Latin American Society invites you to a public talk with Dr. Carlos Díaz-Rosillo, former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Western Hemisphere Affairs and former Deputy Assistant to President Donald Trump.
Drawing from his experience at the White House and the U.S. Department of Defense, Dr. Díaz-Rosillo will discuss how U.S. foreign policy toward Latin America evolved under the Trump administration—and what that legacy means today. He will explore key themes including security cooperation, strategic competition with China and the EU, and shifting hemispheric alliances.
