OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Young People & Climate Action
At the last event of the term, we will look at the role that young people have to play in the climate movement. Representatives from the 2050 Climate Group, which aims to empower young people to take action on climate change, and the UK Youth Climate Coalition (UKYCC), which focuses on mobilizing young people, will be joining us to share the work they do and will discuss how young people can get involved, as well as the role they have to play in facilitating change.
