OxTalks Change Freeze Starts 2 March
Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Once Oxford Events launches, you will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
Migration and Mobility Network 'Academic Speed-Dating' Network Lunch
If you are a researcher of human mobility and/or migration at Oxford you are invited to our first networking lunch! This event will be held in the format of an ‘academic speed-dating’: eight to ten participants of different disciplines and academic levels will be given 3min/2 slides each to present their work, followed by 2min of Q&A. There will be time over lunch for further conversations and networking.
If you have any questions, or would like to give such a brief presentation, please indicate your interest by emailing migration-mobility@torch.ox.ac.uk.
This event is open to researchers of all levels from DPhil onwards. Tickets are allocated on a first come, first served basis, so book your ticket soon to avoid disappointment!
