RESCHEDULED: The Gendered Consequences of COVID-19: Initial insights for American Families
This talk has been rescheduled from Mon 8th to Weds 10th March.
The COVID-19 pandemic has placed unparalleled challenges on individuals, families, employers and governments. This talk will cover the most recent insights into how the pandemic had impacted American parents and provide some clear policy guidance to mitigate the damage for mothers. Central to these arguments are how states play a critical role in exacerbating the gendered consequences of school and daycare closures on maternal employment.
