OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The exact freeze dates will be confirmed as soon as possible.

What Economists Really Do: The Economics of Refugees and Migration
‘The Economics of Refugees and Migration’ with Dennis Egger (Oxford) will provide an engaging overview of recent empirical work on the labour market integration of refugees and migrants. There is a lot of academic and political debate about the costs and benefits of immigration, and the dynamics by which new arrivals are integrated into communities and labour markets. We will touch on new economic approaches to measure the impact of migration on domestic workers and refugees and migrants themselves, and what this means for policy.
