OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Day 2 - 2-Day Conference: Measuring migration and mobility
Conference registration will be open until 15 May, 2022 at 17:00 UK time
This conference explores the idea of “measuring” migration, to the extent that it is possible, using a variety of methods from interdisciplinary perspectives. We aim to explore the ethics and implications of what it means to track migratory flows, and we discuss when this might be appropriate and why these data are helpful/harmful.
Sponsors: Nuffield College (University of Oxford) and the Migration and Mobility Network (TORCH)
