OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

New Frontiers for Prevention Psychiatry
Psychosis prediction and prevention is a major focus of psychiatric research. The current main approach to identifying people at risk of psychosis, however – the Clinical High Risk approach – captures only a very small proportion of all future psychosis cases. This talk will draw on new epidemiological and developmental neuroscience findings to discuss new approaches to identifying risk for severe mental illness – and new opportunities for psychosis prevention.
