The Consequences of War - What are the lasting social, cultural, and political effects of war?
Since 1999, Pembroke College has been hosting a visiting scholar each year as part of the Fulbright programme. This Trinity Term we are delighted to welcome Fulbright Visiting Fellow Gregory A. Daddis, Professor of History and USS Midway Chair in Modern U.S. Military History.

The Fulbright Seminar Series for 2023 will be on the topic of War and Society. On Tuesday 16 May at 5pm, Professor Daddis will be joined by Andrew Preston, Professor of American History at Cambridge Universityto discuss: ‘What are the lasting social, cultural, and political effects of war?’

The event starts at 5pm on Tuesday 9 May in the Harold Lee Room, which is fully wheelchair accessible.
