OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Undergraduate Thesis Session for Research in the Long Eighteenth Century
Every year the Graduate Seminar in History 1680-1850 holds a session to help undergraduates who are thinking of undertaking a thesis in the period. Two third-year speakers will talk about their own experience of developing a thesis in this period, and they will also share their findings. The audience will include many graduates and post-holders working in the period, who will all be keen to advise on any thesis-related matter.
Tea and coffee will be available from 16:00.
