Energy Businesses in a post-COP21 world
Following the successful negotiation of the Paris Agreement, countries worldwide have agreed to voluntary greenhouse gas emissions reductions in the short term, with an overall goal of net zero emissions by the 2nd half of the 21st century. The agreement poses significant challenges for Governments and implies major structural changes to the energy sector and the wider economy. Equally significant will be how incumbent industries and their challengers respond. Juliet Davenport, CEO of Good Energy, and a key figure in the UK energy industry shares her insights.
