ZonMw: Implementation to Improvement

Abstract: Since its foundation in 1997 the Dutch government health research funder ZonMw has been committed to commissioning high quality research and promoting its use in policy and practice. We stand for scientific quality and societal impact. During 20 years we have developed an extensive implementation policy consisting of 5 components. Requirements and criteria in granting and reporting, specific funding schemes for dissemination and implementation, investment in implementation infrastructure, communications and implementation by ZonMw itself and contributing to the body of knowledge on implementation will be discussed in this session. ZonMw’s ambitions and challenges for the coming years will be laid out and will serve as a kick off for the discussion with seminar participants.
