Working with MSF in the field and in research: two perspectives
Dr Søren Kudsk-Iversen and Dr Aoife Fitzgerald are anaesthestists in the Oxford Deanery who will be speaking about their experience with Médecins Sans Frontières

Søren Kudsk-Iversen is a senior anaesthetic registrar and academic clinical fellow in anaesthesia. His research interests include anaesthesia in resource-limited and humanitarian settings. He has been involved with a variety of anaesthetic quality improvement projects in Zambia and South Africa and taught on WFSA SAFE Obstetric Anaesthesia courses in Nepal and Cambodia. Recently he has been conducting research with MSF-Operational Centre Brussels and has a number of ongoing projects regarding anaesthesia provision in humanitarian settings.
