OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
The 2021 Milton Lecture - Museums as ‘the true teachers of a free people’
Dr Tristram Hunt discusses the role of public museums in creating our culture and describes how, despite its origins rooted in Empire, monarchy, and high Victorian capitalism, the collections of the Victoria & Albert Museum tell a fascinating story of civic republicanism.
Mansfield College is part of the University of Oxford. Its mission is to make the University more accessible and it has the highest state sector intake of Oxford colleges. We hope you enjoy our free public events.
