OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Discussing Scarcity: A History from the Origins of Capitalism to the Climate Crisis
A conversation with Professors Fredrik Albritton Jonsson (Univeristy of Chicago) and Carl Wennerlind (Barnard College-Columbia University) moderated by Vincent Roy-Di Piazza (University of Oxford) and with a response from John Lidwell-Durnin (University of Exeter) around Fredrik and Carl’s new book Scarcity: a history from the origins of capitalism to the climate crisis (Harvard University Press, 2023).
