OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
*CANCELLED* The Role of DOCK8 in B cell Immune Function

This talk has been cancelled. Apologies for any inconvenience,
The DOCK8 Immunodeficiency Syndrome is characterised by a failure to generate long-term T cell dependent protective immunity, associated with absent affinity maturation. Our findings suggest that the absence of DOCK8 causesdefects downstream of the B cell receptor, which result in a failure of B-T cross-talk when antigen is limiting. These effects are associated with reduced B cell survival, which is amplified in the germinal centre.
