Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Step into the past with artefacts from the Bodleian Libraries’ store of digital technology and memorabilia. This is a chance to explore items used by the Libraries’ digital preservation team which are not normally available to the public.
This hands-on event on Wednesday 12 March in the Centre for Digital Scholarship invites you to explore a curated selection of tech objects and engage with them through all your senses – from the physical feel to the sounds they make.
This free event is open to University of Oxford staff and students only. Registration is required.
