Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. We give a new construction of the scaling limit of the minimal spanning tree on the Poisson weighted infinite tree. The construction combines aspects of the stick breaking construction of Aldous’ CRT from segments with the construction of Brownian motion from Ito’s excursion measure. This is joint with Delphin Senizergues.
