On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

‘Diary of a Volunteer’
Talk with Visual Artist and Wolfson Honorary Fellow
MARK NEVILLE
Thursday 27 February 2025, 5.00 – 6.00pm
Join us to hear British, Kyiv-based, visual artist, Mark Neville talk about his new work and share as-yet-unseen images and spreads from his book, ‘Diary of a Volunteer’.
Initially conceived as an artistic experiment, the charity set up by Neville, ‘Postcode Ukraine’ has delivered $400,000 of aid. Neville’s journey has resulted in his new book, ‘Diary of a Volunteer’, that documents many of the aid missions Neville and his charity have embarked on over the last 30 months, with photographs that explore themes of commitment, home, loss, and resilience. The book is a call to action for the West, urgently demanding specialised mental health support for a traumatised nation.
The Buttery, Wolfson College, Oxford, OX2 6UD. Free admission. All welcome.
