OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Digital Camp for Girls
For girls aged 14-19, to equip them with skills and provide career inspiration, encouraging them to solve global challenges.
Teenagers will hear:
Keynote talk: Opportunities for Women in tech and sustainability
‘Jobs People Love’: Hear from women what they love about different jobs, their career paths, the skills required, and advice they would have
Goal setting workshop and mentoring: Define your goals and get feedback from a mentor
Find Your Girl Power: Identify what makes you unique. Imagine your future without limits and create your personal vision.
Connect for Good Challenge: introduction to a challenge for students to calculate their personal carbon footprint, and start brainstorming ideas for using tech to help the planet.
