On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

The United States has long been seen as the anchor of the international order. But with Donald Trump’s return to the political spotlight, many are asking whether the era of American global leadership—often called the “American Century“—is coming to an end. How might a second Trump presidency reshape U.S. foreign policy, alliances, and the future of global stability?
Join the Oxford University International Relations Society for a fireside chat with Professor Joseph Nye, one of the most influential thinkers in international relations, as he reflects on Trump’s impact on American power, the evolving nature of global leadership, and what lies ahead for the international system.
This event is open to all members of Oxford International Relations Society.
