OxTalks is Changing
On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Introduction to the Oxford branch of the University and College Union
This 1-hour hybrid meeting is open to any staff or students of University of Oxford or any of its constituent colleges who want to learn more about the University and College Union, the recognised trade union for academic and research-related staff. We’ll review what a trade union is, why we need one, who the UCU is, what we do, how organising in our workplace can be an effective way to bring about social change, and how you can get involved in your local branch.
