OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Margaret Power is a Professor of History emerita from the Illinois Institute of Technology. She is the author or co-editor of seven books, including Right-Wing Women in Chile: Feminine Power and the Struggle Against Allende, 1964-1973 and Solidarity Across the Americas: The Puerto Rican Nationalist Party and Anti-imperialism. She has also published dozens of articles and chapters in a range of venues. She is also President of the Board of Directors of the Puerto Rican Cultural Center in Chicago and Co-Chair of Historians for Peace and Democracy.
