OxTalks is Changing
On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

The Annual Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez’s Centro de Estudios de Historia Política, CEHIP History Seminar: Bernardo O’Higgins, Camillus and the Republican Dictatorship, 1818-23
Susana Gazmuri is an associate teacher at Universidad Adolfo Ibanez where she teaches courses on Greek Democracy and Latin America Independence Political Thought. She holds a PhD in History from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a Master of Arts degree in Classical Studies from Tufts University. Her PhD dissertation was awarded with the Price Miguel Cruchaga Tocornal to the best doctoral thesis of 2015 by the Academia Chilena de la Historia. Her research is focused on reception and translation studies, as well as intellectual history.
