OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Rethinking Parkinson’s disease pathophysiology & how to model it with a focus on alpha-synuclein & cell autonomous processes
Professor Jensen became a Medical Doctor from Aarhus University in 1989 and became professor in medical biochemistry in 2004. He served as Head of Department of Medical Biochemistry, University of Aarhus from 2001-2011.
Professor Jensen’s Group has been studying aspects of the protein alpha-synuclein since 1995 ranging from molecular, cellular, in vivo modeling to clinical studies. Since 2013 he has been the core group leader for The Danish Research Institute of Translational Neuroscience (DANDRITE).
