Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. The Bodleian’s Weston Library has a wealth of resources covering almost all aspects of modern British society and culture. This session will introduce key finding aids, and get you started with the research skills needed to make the most of these resources and find material relevant to you, both in Oxford and elsewhere. We will also discuss types of archives and modern papers; considerations when working with archival material; and you will have an opportunity in the session to handle some actual examples.
