On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

This years Lubbock Lecture and supporting lectures will look at the different approaches engineers are taking to tackle the ongoing challenges of climate change.
We are pleased to welcome Warren East, CBE, as our keynote speaker. Warren will look at the climate challenges being addressed by engineers whilst addressing the reality of the slow progress being made and the possibilities to improve.
Supporting lectures will be provided by Professor Sarah Sparrow looking at climate change effects on extreme weather and its impacts on infrastructure and Dr Jesus Lizana with contribution from Professor Barbara Rossi on the future of net zero buildings and the sustainable use of materials in construction.
