Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. From now until the launch of Oxford Events, new events cannot be published or edited on OxTalks while all existing records are migrated to the new platform. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period.
From 16th, Oxford Events will launch on a new website: events.ox.ac.uk, and event submissions will resume. You will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
Nargund is a social entrepreneur and campaigner who ran as the Labour candidate in Islington North in the 2024 General Election. Following the election he founded the Good Growth Foundation, a think tank campaigning on the economy, and he is also a co-founder of a social impact firm which aims to drive sustainable growth.
Nargund will be talking about what good growth looks like, and advertising the Good Growth Foundation’s first summer internship.
He has won innovation and business awards from The Spectator, The Telegraph and London Business School and until 2023 he was the CEO of Create Fertility, which he built with a mission to innovate and make fertility treatment more accessible and affordable for families.
