OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

In Michaelmas Term 2021 (October 2021) a series of Climate and Health Fora will bring together researchers for discussion under three broad thematic areas:
1. Disease Impacts: 9.30-11am Mon 18th October
Disease Impacts: Epidemiology, vector borne disease risk, zoonoses, infectious disease; Mobility, exercise and health; Nutrition, diet and non-communicable diseases (including air pollution); Water and sanitation Mental health.2. Healthcare System Impacts: 9-11am Mon 25th October
3. Climatic Extremes Impacts: 9-11am Wed 20th or 27th October
These fora will bring together researchers interested in the intersection of climate change and health, identify key areas of strength and future work, and facilitate novel collaborations and strengthening existing ones, especially in preparation for the new Climate and Health Pump-Priming Funding round currently open.
