OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Black History Month in MSD: Inequalities in healthcare and research
The University of Oxford’s Medical Sciences Division invites you to celebrate Black History Month 2021 with a talk by Patrick Vernon OBE – social commentator, campaigner, and cultural historian – as he considers healthcare inequalities through the lens of Black British history.
This talk will be followed by a Q&A hosted by Dr Fadi Issa (University of Oxford, Nuffield Department of Surgical Sciences). This event is sponsored by the NIHR Oxford Biomedical Research Centre.
