In a time of ecological crisis, the question of how to respond to the cry of the earth and the cry of its most vulnerable peoples confronts us all with its urgency. This joint conference between St. Beuno’s Jesuit Spirituality Centre, Campion Hall, University of Oxford, and its new Laudato Si’ Research Institute seeks to deepen our own ecological conversion, asking:

• How can Ignatian spiritual practices and ecological theological reflection inspire, guide, and sustain ‘care for our Common Home’?

• How might Ignatian spirituality and ecotheological reflection inform each other? The conference includes talks by practitioners of Ignatian Spirituality and theologians working at the interface of integral ecology and practice. Following these talks, participants will engage the day’s topics through discussions, workshops, personal reflection, and guided meditations.
